Overview
Americomp Inc., (hereinafter "Americomp"), warrants this product to meet applicable specifications as described in the technical manuals, and to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Americomp's desktop computer systems and servers come with a 1(one) year limited warranty. Custom upgrade kits, parts and accessories for windows-based PCs carry a 1(one) year limited warranty. All computer systems come with a lifetime limited labor and technical support warranties that entitle the Customer to technical assistance and free repair for as long as she/he owns a system purchased from Americomp. The information below is full description of Americomp's limited warranties. The limited warranty covering your system will be noted on your invoice and included in the documentation accompanying your system.
1 year Limited Warranty on computer systems (desktops and servers)
Americomp manufactures its computer systems from parts and components that are new in accordance with industry-standard practices. Americomp warrants that systems it manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty term is one year beginning on the date of invoice, as further described below.
Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered under this warranty. Otherwise, this warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by Americomp, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Americomp.
This warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: software; external devices; accessories or parts added to Americomp system after the system is shipped from Americomp; accessories or parts that are not installed in Americomp facility. Monitors, keyboards, and mice that are included on Americomp's standard price list are covered under this warranty. All other monitors, keyboards, and mice purchased elsewhere are not covered.
Americomp shall either repair or replace defective products during the warranty period provided that Americomp found the product to be defective. Americomp reserves the right to replace defective product with different brand.
NOTE : Before you ship the product(s) to Americomp, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes or CDs. 1 year Limited Warranty on upgrade kits, computer parts and accessories
Americomp warrants upgrade kits, computer parts and accessories for the period of 1(one) year since the original invoice date.
Any abuse, misuse, modification or attempted modification of the product (except with prior authorization from Americomp) shall void this warranty. Products whose serial numbers have been deface or altered are not covered by this warranty.
Americomp shall either repair or replace defective products during the warranty period provided that Americomp found the product to be defective. Americomp reserves the right to replace defective product with different brand.
Lifetime Technical Support and labor Warranty on computer systems
All computer systems come with a lifetime limited labor and technical support warranties that entitle the Customer to technical assistance and free repair for as long as she/he owns a system purchased from Americomp.
Lifetime limited labor warranty entitles the owner of system purchased from Americomp to free repair service beyond the time span of a 1 year limited system warranty. However, if the need for repair was due to customer negligence, misuse, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Americomp; Americomp reserves the right to charge service fees at industry-standard hourly rates.
Under provisions of lifetime limited labor warranty Customer is responsible for shipping the system to Americomp's repair facilities after the expiration of a 1 year limited warranty. Customer is held responsible for a market price (at the time of repair) of the replacement part(s) needed to perform the repair upon expiration of 1 year limited system warranty.
